The USS Richard E. Byrd group rate is $92 plus tax per night

Reservations should be made by you, and a one night deposit is required via credit card or check when the reservation is made. Call 1-800-333-3333 and ask for the USS Richard E. Byrd room rate. Reservations must be received by Aug 29th, 2011, after that date reservations will only be accepted on a space available basis, and the group room rate may not apply. Room cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to the check in date to get a refund.

Grand Ole Opry Show

See the show that made country music famous and is also the worlds longest running live radio program. The show features the new stars, superstars, and legends of country music in each performance. In 1932 AM radio superstation WSM 650, made the program a Saturday night musical tradition in nearly 30 states, and in 1939, it debuted nationally on NBC Radio. The show has been broadcast live on WSM ever since.  From 1943-1974 the show performed at the Ryman Auditorium, and still does so during the winter months. Opening night of the new Grand Ole Opry facility in 1974 featured then president Richard Nixon speaking and performing.

Wrap up with a narrated tour of Historic Downtown, Fort Nashborough, the State Capitol, The Parthenon, Vanderbilt University and Music Row.
