The 6th reunion for the USS Richard E. Byrd DDG-23 will be held
September 29th - October 2nd, 2011 at the Radisson Hotel Opryland, Nashville TN
Due to the recent flooding information on hotel room rates and tours
will not be available until after the first of the year.
Please contact me to add your name to the registration packet snail mail
list. Registration packets are normally sent out, Via USPS mail, in
May, or about six months before the reunion.

On May 14, 2007, USNS RICHARD E. BYRD, a dry cargo/ammunition ship, was delivered to the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command. The ship is the fourth in a new class of combat logistics force ships and is able to deliver ammunition, provisions, stores, spare parts, potable water and petroleum products to the Navy's carrier strike groups and other naval forces worldwide.
